Choose your size

1st thing you need to do is decide what size of lcd screen you need. If your old tv is a 4:3 ratio screen ( not wide screen ) you will find that a new lcd tv of the same screen size would look much smaller in your room. The is because screen sizes are measured diagonally corner to corner. New lcd tvs are in wide screen a screen ratio of 16:9. the ratio means 16 wide by 9 high. If you are after a new tv to be of the same size as the the one you currently have it is advisable to go for the next size up. For example if you have a 29 inch tv, your new lcd tv would need to be at least 32 inches.
